for bulino style engraving. I get a real thrill seeing how realistic an image I can get on a metal object.

The process is really simple to explain. A bulino technique image is made by cutting a "LOT" of little lines into the metal.

The closer the lines, the darker that area of the image appears. Much of the image has lines so closely spaced that they

are only visible under magnification. I do most of my work under a stereo microscope.
